Imagine sitting on a beach. Down on the sand toes in the sand and margarita in your hand if that what makes you happy. Now think about what you can see, shoreline, waves, maybe distorted images of the boats in the distance. Now imagine you're on a pier forty yards out. Now what can you see? The shoreline for a far but a longer stretch and a more distinguished shape to the coastline and the tide. You can see more people and traffic. If you turn around you can see people walking or the road that runs parallel to the ocean, maybe even passing traffic not on the beach. Now imagine walking to the end of the pier and laying down on the warm wood on your back and look up at the sky. All of a sudden you saw for the first time things in the sky in detail, since the entire time you were focused in detail because you were looking at the whole. Sometime you have to put a little bit in front of you and all your focus on one thing to notice it. Sometime you don't find beauty, happiness, or joy in things because the whole time you've been looking at too much at once to ever see whats there. Perspective is about education and analytics, branching out to focusing on looking at each situation in life from laying on the ground. Maybe you'll learn a thing or two!!!!
